To that I say:
Dear Valerie MacEwan,
A friend of mine just emailed me your review of The Da Vinci Code and
your thoughtful coverage of Doubleday’s superb efforts in marketing it.
I just wanted to say a quick thank you for your generous words on my
book. In addition, I wanted to express my appreciation that you
resisted the temptation to which so many lesser reviewers
succumbed…that is… telling the secret! Readers everywhere thank you.
As do I…

Dan Brown

more to come…

Just sent these links on to http://awakenedwarrior.wordpress.com/2006/04/23/biblical-fiction-making-a-big-comeback/ so you might hear from him. I read a book a few years ago called “Becoming a Thinking Christian” by John B. Cobb Jr., in which the author illustrates how Chrtistians use scriprture to defend opposite views, depending on their experiences and needs. I wish to recommend it to anyone who believes all Christians should think alike.
thanks for the link. I get these emails about once a month now, down from 5 a week back when the book was first published.
