Today there are answers. Tomorrow will be the question and answer period. The lecture will last less than 20 minutes, if you would all kindly be seated. If you cannot kindly sit, then at least be friendly and open-minded. Thank you. Our first panelist to speak is a writer whose impact upon 20th century literature is most significant. As a book editor, reviewer, and columnist for Popmatters… as a short fiction instigator, a creative non-fiction creamander, and it should be noted here, not a demander, and last, but certainly not least, her true notable achievement, the reason for all her creamandering and loitering, her significant literary contribution, her thesis entitled The Absquatulation of the Post-Spatulitic Contributions of Marcel Duchamp.

Do not use the vestibule doors. Thank you… that’s right, quickly and calmly… keep moving, just leave your information packets on your chairs, ladies you can take your purses… slowly, calmly. No talking please! Be quiet! You! You! In the red Santa suit, Yes! You! Stop ho ho ho-ing. The lecture will continue in a few minutes… wait outside… keep going…”
