Why collect old papers?
There’s no beauty in conspicuous consumption these days. No art in the every day. Computers have reduced business transactions to lines and dots, heat sensitive paper with unimaginative logos. There’s no joy in the afterglow of purchases cheaply made.
Ahhhhhhh…
One needs to reflect for a moment upon the bill of sale of the 1890s. Pure poetry, is it not? A think of beauty is a joy forever… 110 years later is forever in paper-years.
