The Dead Mule received a Pulitzer Prize for Literature this morning. On her way to pick up the prize money, Valerie MacEwan said, “This is not just good for southern literature, it is good for me.”

Helen Losse has been nominated to serve as Frostbite Falls Poet Laureate. Despite a rocky career, Helen is bullish on stanzas.

Phoebe Kate Foster is in Bulgaria promoting her new book, “If My Life Is Strange, Why Are You In It?” Foster’s brilliant essays are accompanied by ziplock bags full of live spiders.

Rebekah Cowell, nominated as Television’s Least Likely Viewer by the Small Screen Academy, will receive the $4.65 prize on June 5th.

Jane Olsen, toddler mom and hockey blogger, will receive the Stanley Cup tomorrow afternoon. Chosen as the April Hostess for the prize, interested parties may view the Cup daily between 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. at the home.
