This update is a real bitch. I am trying to replace the code for adsense and maps.amung.us and wow am I gonna’ just go outside and wrestle some cats. I feel like do a dance, a FlingDown of some of the feral critters squawling around my backyard — they’re driving my dogs nuts, the dogs bark, the cats howl and spray everywhere and blog updates be damned. Every time I try to get work done, it sounds like someone is drowning a toddler.
Ahhhhhhhhh.
Chill. Chill… take a walk… take a pill… frustration highway, take a left turn onto the easy lane. If you don’t blog and you just read Valerie MacEwan for the sheer pleasure of watching my words roll off your monitor, you won’t give a rat’s ass about what I’m saying here… so just know that sometimes even we geniuses feel despair.
If you do blog, you will undoubtedly like the 2.5 edition of WordPress. The user interface is wonderful. But give it a little more time before you update. Leave the frustration to us amateurs then, grab your copy from the pros. Sometimes this grandma wishes she’d never admitted to understanding CSS… a mere little itty bitty bit of understanding… enough to be dangerous.
Widgets are kerplunk. Comments will not function. Google adsense is fubarred. So, for now, I will just blog for the pure joy of writing and posting photos! I will thank designer Karen Hamilton for the Louise Brooks theme. It rocks, it rolls, it rules… paypal donation coming your way soon…
