Costa Rican Adventure - Car Rental

Once we get into Liberia, we’re going to need to rent a car. It’s a tricky situation, renting an automobile in another country than your own. So we’re probably going to trust Advantage to secure our vehicle for us. International insurance ins-and-outs need to be navigated, as well as the Costa Rican highway system. Looks like Advantage is the car rental company for us. Competitive rates, four-wheel drive vehicles (it IS Costa Rica, remember?) and easy access to pick up and return for the vehicle.

Of course, there’s this $1,000 lien against your credit card until you return your automobile in Costa Rica… hmmmmm… and insurance runs at least $12 a day…. and … well … still, if we rent a car to get us from Liberia [LIS airport] to Playa Samara, it will be with Advantage.
