Thursday art: use decoupage glue, a pile of 1960s McCall’s dress pattern tissue paper, an 18′x20′ canvas. Crumple the tissue to create texture, paint glue over it, affix to canvas, let dry, the apply gesso. The pattern is of a Marlo Thomas pant suit. The purpose of ephemera art is to create layers of history underneath a modern facade.

Of course, I just made that one up out of the whole cloth. Sold you a bolt of goods.
